Copper test strips

With Quality Check Copper Water Test strips you simply dip one test strip into your water sample for 30 seconds, with a back and forth motion, remove the strip and shake once to remove any excess water, wait 2 minutes for the colour to develop and match with the closest colour match to determine your level of Copper.

Potential health effects: High concentrations colour water blue/green. Greater than 1 mg/L may stain fittings, dishwashers and clothes washing. Greater than 2 mg/L can cause ill effects in some people. 

Sources of contamination: Corrosion of household pipes and plumbing by salt, low pH water. Erosion of natural deposits.
